For those of you that haven’t hopped on the EV bandwagon, you have your reasons. They may range from not needing a vehicle at the moment, to buying into the classic EV rumors. To try and dispel some of those rumors, a writer for CleanTechnica had her good friend, and school teacher, take a Nissan LEAF out for a spin on her very first EV test drive.

Her response?

“I can’t believe how soft and cushy the seat is. It’s so easy. The visibility is great. I feel so high up. So much higher up than my own car, a Mazda. The driving is very smooth and extremely quiet. It handles smoothly. It feels like it just glides around — very easily. It doesn’t feel like a chore to drive it. It is so fluid, like water — pouring.”

The takeaway from this is the good old adage, “don’t judge a book by its cover”, or an EV from the opinions of naysayers. If you’ve yet to step out of the gas powered box and would like to test the EV waters, stop by Destination Nissan! We’ll be happy to take you out on a test drive!
