Here at Destination Nissan, we always are here to lend a helping hand to those who are in need. No matter the situation, we try to make the best of it and assist wherever possible. In recent days, we have teamed up with Specialized Vehicle Upfitting (SVU) to help the Albany Police Department in the best way we knew how: giving their patrol vehicles a deep cleaning. 

What Is Specialized Vehicle Uplifting? 

Specialized Vehicle Upfitting (SVU) was created in 2014 and has been building the safest, most reliable police and emergency vehicles in the area ever since. We are using High Output Ozone machines to ozone shock the interior of emergency vehicles.  Ozone is a proven and extremely effective method of sanitizing the interior of a vehicle. Ozone gets into cracks and crevices that normal sprays and wipes cannot reach. Finally, we use an electronic-safe spray to disinfect the electronics and two-way radio microphones.

With our partnership with SVU, we were able to provide officers with a clean vehicle. Our team has assisted in cleaning all interior panels, seats, dashboards and windows. It was a pleasure to help our officers during this time as they work around the clock to provide a safe community to work and live in. We express our greatest gratitude to them and the rest of the first responders in the Albany area.
