If you absolutely love food, chances are you’re always on the look out for food festivals. Fortunately, Albany hosts food festivals all year long. Be sure to add these three Albany food festivals to your calendar.

New York State Food Festival

Most food festivals require an admission fee, but the New York State Food Festival offers free admission. Every year the festival hosts about 100 food vendors who attract thousands of foodies to Albany’s Empire State Plaza. Most of these foods are unique to the region and can be difficult to find elsewhere. At the festival you can also enjoy live music performances as you make your way from vendor to vendor.

Albany Chefs’ Food & Wine Festival

If you love wine tasting, you won’t want to miss the annual Albany Chefs’ Food & Wine Festival. Events typically include wine and food tastings as well as expert-level seminars for true foodies. The wine and food on offer at the festival comes from all over the world and is prepared by some of the top chefs from around the globe.

Craft New York Brewers Festival

Go to the Craft New York Brewers Festival if you love making or tasting beer. Here you can get to know more than 45 New York state breweries and taste their products for yourself. The ticket for admission covers the cost for unlimited beer samples, unlimited food, and a tasting glass.

Are you hungry or thirsty yet? Don’t miss these food and beverage festivals in the Albany area.
