Arthur Forrest Pritchard Visits the Voorheesville Library

Voorheesville Public Library

Come to the Voorheesville Library and meet Forrest Pritchard in person on his speaking tour to promote the new book, Growing Tomorrow. This bestselling New York Times author is a professional farmer with degrees in geology and English from College William & Mary. Pritchard’s Smith Meadows Farm was one of the first farms in the US that was “grass finished”. For 15 years, he has sold at the top farmers’ markets in Washington DC. Books will be available for purchase and Pritchard will be signing copies.

Schenectady Daily Gazette 2015 Holiday Parade

November 21, 5-8 PM

State Street, Schenectady

The 48th Annual Daily Gazette Holiday Parade kicks off in downtown Schenectady on November 21, 2015. Sponsored by the Chamber of Schenectady County, 20,000-40,000 spectators will line State Street for the largest nighttime parade in the Northeast. Enjoy over 100 floats, characters, marchers, bands, troupes and decorated cars. The highlight of the event will be the Santa Claus float.
