sparce christmas treeThere are only a handful of shows which resonant the true Christmas spirit. One such show will always be the Charlie Brown Christmas cartoon. This year, Albany’s Park Playhouse theater and The Palace Performing Arts Center are collaborating on this year’s production just in time for the holidays.

See Snoopy and the Peanuts gang come to life on stage to discover the true meaning of Christmas On December 19-20, 2015. The admission costs for adults is just $20 and kids under the age of 12 get in for free. Tickets can be purchased at The Palace Box Office.

The cast is made up of over 20 Park Playhouse student actors and several local musicians will also be playing along with the classic holiday music of Vince Guaraldi Trio. The play is a great choice for families of all ages. The Charlie Brown Christmas show is sponsored by KeyBank. The Palace Theater is located at 19 Clinton Avenue, Albany NY. Free parking is available for theater events at the Quackenbush Garage, located just a few blocks away from the theater.

Other upcoming performances include Irving Berlin’s White Christmas on December 22, Aladdin on December 28, and more on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. January brings the Albany Symphony Orchestra and a Three Stooges Film Fest will be held on February 1, 2016.
