Destination Nissan

For some people, driving is a form of therapy unlike any other. But for some, it’s a trigger for stress and even anger. So how do you keep calm in situations like traffic, when you’re running late, or even your daily commute? We have a few suggestions!

On your daily commute– a lot of people will take the time in their commute to plan out their day and make a mental to-do list. The problem with this is that, as the list grows, so does your stress. A better way to go about planning your day is to envision yourself getting your work done and done perfectly. You’ll find yourself to be much more motivated and ready to take on the day!

When you’re stuck in traffic– if there is ever a time that people show their worst form, it’s in a traffic jam. So how do you get through it without your blood pressure going through the roof and your nerves being shot? Try some centering breathing exercises! They have been proven to reset your nervous system and get your mind back into a positive place.

If you’re running late– the worst thing you can do is get angry at yourself. If you start telling yourself how mad you are, that you should know better and plan better, you’re going to show up at your destination, still late, and in a terrible mood. It might be difficult, but try to show yourself some compassion. Focus on everything you’ve done right throughout the day and you’ll show up in such a great mood, no one will notice you were late!

One last suggestion, get a new Nissan! It’s hard to have a bad ride when you have a wonderful vehicle.
