Nissan LEAF Named Mexico’s “2015 Green Vehicle”

It seems that no matter where the Nissan LEAF goes, it makes headlines. Most recently the all-electric vehicle was recognized at Mexico’s “2015 Green Vehicle” by the Top Car MAPFRE (a leading insurance company) awards. These awards are held to recognize design, innovation and technological breakthroughs in the Mexican automotive industry, things that the Nissan LEAF has always excelled at.

A panel that consists of editors and experts select the finalists and the categories of the awards. This year’s consisted of subcompact vehicles, sedans, SUVs, sports cars and green vehicles. What makes these awards even more compelling, is that it is the general public is who selects the winners.
