There are only a handful of shows which resonant the true Christmas spirit. One such show will always be the Charlie Brown Christmas cartoon. This year, Albany’s Park Playhouse theater and The Palace Performing Arts Center are collaborating on this year’s production just in time for the holidays.
See Snoopy and the Peanuts gang come to life on stage to discover the true meaning of Christmas On December 19-20, 2015. The admission costs for adults is just $20 and kids under the age of 12 get in for free. Tickets can be purchased at The Palace Box Office.
The cast is made up of over 20 Park Playhouse student actors and several local musicians will also be playing along with the classic holiday music of Vince Guaraldi Trio. The play is a great choice for families of all ages. The Charlie Brown Christmas show is sponsored by KeyBank. The Palace Theater is located at 19 Clinton Avenue, Albany NY. Free parking is available for theater events at the Quackenbush Garage, located just a few blocks away from the theater.

The 10th annual Santa Speedo Sprint is scheduled to be held December 12, 2015 in Albany. This annual event is in conjunction with the Winter WonderLark event. The Santa Speedo Sprint starts at 2:00pm and features a host of runners dressed in their finest Speedos, costumes, and accessories sprinting down Lark Street.

The WonderLark event is a perfect event for the entire family. It kicks off at 11am on Lark Street and goes until 5pm. During the festivities, visitors can shop for their holiday gifts in the outdoor market. There will also be several family-fun activities planned throughout the day. Lark Street will be filled with art, craft vendors, trolley rides, live entertainment, and even a gingerbread workshop.
Another featured event during Winter WonderLark is the annual Lark Street BID window decorating contest. Plenty of things to eat will also be available during the festivities.

Nissan LEAF Named Mexico’s “2015 Green Vehicle”
It seems that no matter where the Nissan LEAF goes, it makes headlines. Most recently the all-electric vehicle was recognized at Mexico’s “2015 Green Vehicle” by the Top Car MAPFRE (a leading insurance company) awards. These awards are held to recognize design, innovation and technological breakthroughs in the Mexican automotive industry, things that the Nissan LEAF has always excelled at.
A panel that consists of editors and experts select the finalists and the categories of the awards. This year’s consisted of subcompact vehicles, sedans, SUVs, sports cars and green vehicles. What makes these awards even more compelling, is that it is the general public is who selects the winners.

Sales For November Announced By Nissan Division
With the end of the year less than a month away the Nissan Division has released their sales from November. With a 3.9 percent increase over November 2014 and a total of 95,389 units sold the brand is looking good as they aim to finish out the year ona positive note. This goal is further emphasized by the Nissan Division’s year-to-date sales for the entire year so far which has amounted to 1,227,213 units. This represents an increase of 5.4 percent from where sales were at this point last year.
November Totals:
- Sales of the Murano increased 45.2 percent with 5,574 units
- Sales of the Frontier reached 5,099 units
- Sales of the Rogue increased 49.8 percent with 22,565 units
- Sales of the Versa increased 5.4 percent with 9,783 units
- Sales of the Maxima increased 18.3 percent with 3,884 units
- Sales of the 370Z increased 8.5 percent with 381 units
- Sales of the Pathfinder reached 5,094 units
- Sales of the Sentra increased 7.2 percent with 14,505 units
- Sales of the Quest increased 97.3 percent with 953 units
- Sales of the Altima reached 20,564 units
- Sales of the JUKE reached 1,897 units

Nissan Creates Black Friday 360 Experience
What do you get when you combine an abandoned mall, a pair of Nissan 370Zs and two drifting experts? Well for Nissan and Hoonigan, this combination led to the creation of the Black Friday 360 Experience and a whole new way to spend a day at the mall on black Friday.
To create this unique experience, professional drivers and drifting champs Ryan Tuerck and Chris Forsberg were brought out to the abandoned Hawthorne Mall by Los Angeles where they spend the day driving through the empty building in their Nissan 370Zs. While they drove, a series of cameras captured the action from every vantage point in order to create the 360 Experience. Therefore, fans can now watch the duo zoom through the mall from every possible angle as they can touch the screen and turn it 360 degrees as they watch it in order to truly immerse themselves in the drive.
Fans of drifting and Nissan are sure to love all of the stunts and impressive driving skills Tuerck and Forsberg showed off in this film. There is even one moment where Fosberg swerves the back of his car near a ledge with a 30-foot drop, something that was made difficult due to the extremely dusty climate they were driving in.
“I knew I could mentally block out the drop, however, my biggest concern was the surface,” admitted Forsberg. “The conditions were dusty and underneath all of that was polished concrete. We had one chance to get the shot before the rubber built up.”
