If you would like to add more features to the 2015 Rogue Select S, there is the available Convenience package. This package adds on: illuminated visor mirror, rear spoiler, Bluetooth phone functions, roof rails, 6-speaker sound system, rearview camera, 4.3-inch audio display screen, satellite radio, audio controls mounted on the steering wheel and iPod/USB interface.
There is also an Appearance package that adds on rear privacy glass and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Performance and Power
The 2015 Nissan Rogue Select S runs on a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 170 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel-drive is standard along with a continuously variable transmission. All-wheel-drive is an option. With FWD, the Rogue Select achieves 25 mies per gallon combined city and highway driving, while AWD drops slightly to 24 mpg combined. The 2015 Rogue Select will go from 0-60 in a quick 8.6 seconds.

Automotive News published their 2015 “100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry” list which comes out once every five years and honors the top female executives at automakers, dealerships, and suppliers. This year’s list features three Nissan executives, Rebecca Barker Vest, Diane Allen and Sonia Rief.
Rebecca Barker Vest is vice president of purchasing for Nissan North America (NNA). Her job responsibilities include purchasing project management, supplier quality assurance, supplier relations, and overseeing all purchasing activities NNA.
Diane Allen is the senior design manager at Nissan Design America (NDA). She is responsible for managing design programs, which range from advanced exploratory work to production vehicle design. She had a significant hand in managing the design development of the new TITAN full-size truck. She also holds a number of patents for her work and several design awards. This year marks the fourth time Diane has been honored on this list.
Last but not least is Sonia Rief. She is the director of Vehicle Program Management and the regional chief vehicle engineer at the Nissan Technical Center North America (NTCNA) where she oversees the Nissan Rogue. Her typical tasks include delivering vehicle changes that meet program requirements for quality, cost and timing on the Nissan Rogue as well as overseeing the planning and evaluation of development activities from product concept to launch for all U.S. manufactured models.
Nissan is proud to announce that the 2016 Titan XD has received the distinguished “Truck of Texas Award” for 2015. The award was given from the Texas Auto Writers Association at its yearly Texas Truck Rodeo. The rodeo puts the best truck, CUVs and SUVs through tough two-day tests in Spring Branch, Texas at the well-known Knibbe Ranch.
More Awards for the 2016 Titan XD
In addition to being named the “2015 Truck of Texas”, the 2016 Titan XD received more awards, including: Off-Road Pickup truck of Texas, Luxury Pickup of Texas and Best Powertrain. The powertrain award was given because of the Titan XD’s 5.0L V8 Turbo Cummins® Diesel engine. The Titan XD was also mentioned for its solid performance as well as receiving high scores for its interior and exterior. It was quite a big deal for the Titan XD to win this award, since this was the largest rodeo in TAWA history. Currently available at Destination Nissan is the 2015 Nissan Versa Note. We are so proud to be offering test drives on this vehicle on a daily basis. Nissan Releases October Sales Numbers
Last month’s’ sales set an October sales record for Nissan and were up 12 percent. The diverse lineup of Nissan vehicles did well across the board and started off the last quarter of the year on the right foot. Crossovers, SUVs, and trucks did the best overall and were up 26 percent over last year.
- The Rogue sold 24,939 units increasing sales 69.8 percent over last October, making it the best-selling vehicle last month
- The Murano sold 5,350 units increasing sales 25.3 percent
- The Pathfinder sold 5,584 units increasing sales .8 percent
- The Versa sold 13,855 units increasing sales 24.93 percent
- The Sentra sold 14,974 units increasing sales 14.1 percent
- The Maxima sold 4,903 units increasing sales 17.1 percent
- The Altima sold 20,948 units
- The LEAF sold 1,238 units
- The Titan sold 882 units
- The Xterra sold 421 units

When it comes to Vehicle Intelligence, Nissan takes the cake in terms of autonomous, and piloted drive mode. This Nissan will be introduced to Yokohama, Japan at the end of 2016, which means that our customers at Destination Nissan will just have to patiently wait for this prototype.
