With the volatility of gas prices, many consumers have started to turn to fuel-efficient vehicles to save money. Luckily, Nissan has several models that fit this bill. If you’re looking to get a bit further on a single tank of gas, check out some of these fuel-efficient vehicles.

Nissan Versa

Coming in both a sedan and a hatchback, the Versa is one of the best cars on the market for superior fuel economy. Under the hood, it has a 1.6 liter, four-cylinder engine capable of 109 horsepower. You may not win any races in the Versa, but you will get 40 miles per gallon highway and 31 in the city.

Nissan Altima

If you want to blend performance, looks, and fuel economy into a single vehicle, look no further than the Nissan Altima. With a 182 horsepower, 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine, powered by a continuously variable transmission, the Altima gets 39 miles per gallon highway and 27 miles per gallon city.

Nissan Rogue

For those that want some more space for cargo or up to seven people, the Rogue is a great choice. The Rogue uses a 170 horsepower, 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine to produce up to 33 miles per gallon city and 26 on the highway. For an SUV, it’s almost unbeatable.

Fuel economy is not a trait that every car possesses, but with Nissan, you definitely have more options. From compacts to sedans to SUVs, chances are you’ll find the perfect Nissan to get around town and save money at the pump.
